At the same time, the number of listed companies mentioned in the ESG news coverage more than doubled to 1,621 in Jan’22-Oct’22 period from 808 in the same period last year. The spike in the news volume and the number of companies showed Environmental, Social, and Governance factors have gained increased attention from the India Inc in 2022.
